Amidst controversy concerning health and safety standards at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, it's nice to focus on the lighter side of the event. That being; fashion.
Canadian designers Dean and Dan Caten, creators of DSquared2, have dressed our Olympic team in patriotic red and white with just a pinch of edge. With our national flag lovingly emblazoned across the backs of 132 athletes, Team Canada's uniforms are 100% Canadian and decidedly Dsquared2.
No stranger to athletic wear, Stella McCartney was tasked with designing the kit for her country's olympic and paralympic teams for the games in Rio. This is the second time McCartney designed for team GB. In 2012 she expanded her long-time relationship with Adidas and designed the clothing for the Summer Olympics in London. We're already looking forward to 2020.
