It's that time of year again. Wedding season is upon us and in keeping with past years - virtually anything goes. Traditional white is great, but we're still experimenting with length and pattern. Off the shoulder to off white - buds to blush - color, cut and pattern remain modern and flexible.

The Cannes Film Festival: arguably one of the favorite fashion events of the year. From photocalls to red-carpets, attendees get to flex their style muscle. At this years 70th anniversary the crowd did not disappoint.

It’s the first Monday in May - and we all know what that means. Not only is there a spectacular philanthropic-focused celebration - choc-a-block with fashion’s elite but once all the bubbles have run out and the heels have come off, there will be an equally spectacular exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art showcasing 2017’s theme.
Every few years the Costume Institute shines a spotlight on the achievement of a single designer. Yves Saint Laurent, Gianni Versace and Alexander McQueen have been honoured in the past. This year the honour goes to Rei Kawakubo & Comme des Garçons - Art and the In-Between.
The line between fashion and art has always been debated. Tonight it disappeared as equal parts avant-garde and classic posed on the red carpet. Amongst the diversity the common thread is the fun the invitees have had interpreting their looks for the occasion.

Pantone's annual pick for color of the year is the epitome of spring.
Greenery: PANTONE 15-0343 was adopted by designers such as Missoni, Stella McCartney and Roland Mouret.
Fashion Month has ended and we've picked up on a few things that are going to be big for fall.
~ Long long sleeves:
Ranging from a few inches past the wrist to a few inches past the fingertips.
~ Slouchy shoulders:
One or both, deliberate or structured - the shoulder is still on full display for autumn.
~ Primary colors: the forerunners are yellow and red
~ Argyle: Just a dash.
~ Velvet: any and all.
