If you're a fan of romance then you'll love Vilshenko's SS17 collection. With flowing skirts, delicate toile and just the right amount of boho - you'll want nothing more than to run through a field of wildflowers.

Blue + White

Zenija Esmits

A classic combination if there ever was one. Delicate yet graphic - linear blue and white graced many a runway. The simple stripe often incorporated traditional shirting and more often, incorporated it with a twist. Linen, poplin or seersucker - ruched, deconstructed or patched - as suitable today as it was way back when.

L to R: Maison Margiela, Dsquared2, No21, Stella McCartney, Vis a Vis & Valentino.

May Day

Zenija Esmits

It’s the first Monday in May - and we all know what that means. Not only is there a spectacular philanthropic-focused celebration - choc-a-block with fashion’s elite but once all the bubbles have run out and the heels have come off, there will be an equally spectacular exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art showcasing 2017’s theme.

Every few years the Costume Institute shines a spotlight on the achievement of a single designer. Yves Saint Laurent, Gianni Versace and Alexander McQueen have been honoured in the past. This year the honour goes to Rei Kawakubo & Comme des Garçons - Art and the In-Between.

The line between fashion and art has always been debated. Tonight it disappeared as equal parts avant-garde and classic posed on the red carpet. Amongst the diversity the common thread is the fun the invitees have had interpreting their looks for the occasion.

We were thrilled to see so many of our favorite designers represented.

Fill'er Up

Zenija Esmits

Not just for the garage or studio. What's not to love about jumpsuits?
There's an ease not to mention an element of fun in these hugely popular one-pieces. No worries about what matches what. All in one dressing is where it's at. Besides, if you do want to layer, its totally allowed. Add a tank or blouse and turn your all-in one into two - or throw on a knit to add some extra warmth for those spring-time evenings. Put away the monkey wrench and put on a great pair of heels.

All jumpsuits pictured below are available in store!

The lure of Lurex

When are metallics not in?

Boboli AW16 Campaign

Boboli AW16 Campaign

Lurex was developed and patented in the mid century. From film to the dawn of disco and up until the AW16 runways the metallic fabric has had a luxurious history.

This season we see it in store, in editorials and of course on the catwalk. Whether for men or women, separates or slinky gowns, lurex isn't reserved just for The Holidays, but for everyday.

Below is a taste of what we have at Boboli.

International Velvet

Zenija Esmits

A taste of the luxurious trend as seen in store - from flocked to flats.

As seen on the runways. Almost all of our designers have embraced the silky opulence in one form or another. Gowns, puffer coats and puffed sleeves. Flocked, trimmed and quilted. The variety is endless and there are no rules.

Who's wearing the trend of the season?

Film Fest Fashion

Zenija Esmits

The Venice Film Festival and the Toronto International Film Festival have come and gone. Now it's time to look back at some of the fashion that made the red carpet.

Zenija Esmits

Sheer, skinny, woolly, or striped - it seems extra long scarves are a trend for fall. The accessory hit the Fashion Month runways hard in collections from Blumarine to Missoni.
